Hand painted pots for the farmstand

Such a fun project!

I’ve never painted flower pots before so I’m not sure why I was in such a mood for it. It was enjoyable though, and I probably would make more if there were more hours in a day. I would love to keep the farmstand stocked with pots of flowers like these all summer long. Heck, I’ve got all kinds of ideas for things to add to the farmstand. But I still have a toddler this year so I’m keeping my expectations low!

For real, life is HARD with a toddler.

The weather was up and down this week so I had just enough time to do this set. First did some brainstorming to make things quicker:

Don’t forget to spray the insides with a clear coat/sealant before you do anything else! Otherwise the water seeps into the pot and can potentially mess up your painting. Then start off with a base coat!

Mother’s Day is coming up, so I was definitely leaning in the “Mama” direction. I wanted pots cute enough that I’d put them on my own porch. 😜

And oh my goshhhh, I would absolutely keep these for myself!!

Once dry, they all received a good spray of gloss clear coat, which really shined them up and kept them clean afterwards when I hastily planted the flowers.

*swoon* Cow spot flower pots, perfect for Mother’s Day!
This tiny pot is killing me 😍
Mama works hard for the honey 🍯🐝👑
Sassy Highland cow- don’t forget “Mama” on the ear tag!
Strawberry pots look SO cute together as a set! 🌸🍓

Yes I did have a little photoshoot with them for my own personal satisfaction 💖 Sometimes I just need one clean corner in my crazy house to make myself feel better!

So that’s where we’re at. I need to work on little price tags and haul them out to the farmstand!
