Yayyy! I’ve always wanted to have sweet corn in the farmstand but we can never manage to grow it. We’d probably have to try a new plot in a different spot. But thankfully my dad has been diligently watering his sweet corn this summer, and wow is it delicious! It made my day when he showed up with a tub full.

We have to get creative when it comes to edibles in the farmstand, as our little feathered dinosaurs like to eat whatever tasty treats they can reach. I’m not sure if they’d eat the sweet corn or not, but just in case, we crafted a new chicken-proof but still visible door for this cabinet. Is it cute or what?! I love that it’s yet another piece of recycled love from the property. (I found the cabinet in the shed and cleaned it up when we moved here.)

Hopefully our lovely locals will grab some corn with their eggs! 🌽 I’m sure this cabinet will come in handy for other items later too!
